Epic Facilitator Guide

The EPIC program is a peer-led, life skills curriculum offered exclusively by Young People in Recovery to treatment centers and social service agencies to help people of all ages who struggle with addiction to drugs or alcohol or are in recovery from a substance use disorder. EPIC stands for:

E : engaged,

P : peer developed,

I : individualized,

C : community-centered.

Participants in the EPIC program improve their dedication to their individualized recovery program; are more engaged with a peer group that supports their recovery; and become better able to access resources that assist their recovery like housing, education, and employment.
