1. Acceptance of these terms
Printcart is operated by Netbase Enterprise Solutions and Applications Joint Stock Company (Netbase JSC). In these terms, "Printcart", "we" and "us" mean Printcart as operated by Netbase JSC, and "you" means the person or business that creates an account, connects a store or uses any Printcart service.
By creating an account, connecting a store, installing a Printcart plugin or app, calling the Printcart REST API or otherwise using the services, you agree to these terms. If you use Printcart on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that business. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
2. Accounts and stores
You need a Printcart account to use the cloud platform. Give accurate information, keep your login details and API keys private, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has gained access. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and your keys.
A store is the online shop you connect to Printcart, for example a WordPress and WooCommerce site, a Shopify store or a Wix site. You may connect only stores that you own or are authorised to manage.
3. The services
Printcart provides a cloud web-to-print platform: a product designer, catalog and print-partner tools, templates and cliparts, AI print tools, and preparation of print-ready files. We also provide plugins and apps that connect the platform to WordPress and WooCommerce, Shopify and Wix stores, and a REST API for your own integrations.
Features can differ by plan and by platform. The pages for each app and tool describe what is included. See the apps, tools and developer documentation for details.
4. One store, one Printcart solution
Each Printcart plugin or app is a complete solution for one kind of product. To keep buyer experiences and order data consistent, each store connects one Printcart plugin or app solution.
Running several Printcart solutions on one store is delivered as a Printcart Connect integration project, available on the Advanced plan or above and quoted for your store. You can install another Printcart plugin on the same site, but connecting it to a store that already runs a different Printcart solution needs a Printcart Connect project. Read more about Printcart Connect.
5. Plans, subscriptions and the token wallet
Printcart offers a free plan and paid plans. The price and billing period of a plan are shown before you buy it, and any custom work is priced in a written quote before it starts. Paid plans renew for the period you chose until you cancel them in your account.
Some services, including AI and other metered tools, use tokens. Tokens are taken from the wallet of the store owner who owns the account that runs the service. Please keep your wallet topped up for the tools you use. The token cost of each service is shown in the product before you run it.
You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchases, unless the price states otherwise.
6. Custom development and integration services
We also offer custom development, integration and migration work, including Printcart Connect projects. The scope, deliverables, timeline and price of each project are set in a written quote that you accept before work begins. Work outside the agreed scope needs a new or updated quote.
You own the deliverables we create specifically for you once the quote is paid in full, except for the Printcart software, cloud services and any third-party components they rely on. Code we deliver for WordPress extends GPL software and is licensed under the GPL, as WordPress requires. Printcart cloud services stay subject to these terms, whether or not they are used together with delivered code.
You agree to give us the access, content and timely feedback we need to deliver the project.
7. Merchant data and buyer data
You keep ownership of the content and data you bring to Printcart, such as your store details, product data, artwork and orders. You give us the rights we need to host, process and display it to provide the services to you.
When your buyers use a Printcart designer on your store, Printcart processes their data, such as uploaded artwork and order details, on your behalf and to provide the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect that data, for telling your buyers how it is used, and for responding to their requests. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Printcart to:
- upload, design, print or sell content that is unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights, or that you have no right to use;
- attempt to break, probe or overload the services, bypass limits or access controls, or reverse engineer parts of the services that are not open source;
- share your account or API keys with people who are not authorised to use them, or resell the services without our written agreement;
- send spam or malware, or harm buyers, print partners or other merchants.
9. Intellectual property
Printcart and its licensors own the platform, plugins, apps, designer, tools, brand and documentation. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use them as these terms allow.
Templates and cliparts are free to customize and use with your Printcart store. These templates are created and owned by Printcart for its merchants, and they are not stock or public-domain assets. You may not resell or redistribute them as stand-alone files.
Your own artwork, brand and product content remain yours. Fonts, images and other assets that you or your buyers upload are the responsibility of the person who uploads them.
10. Third-party platforms
Printcart works with platforms and providers we do not control, including WordPress and WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, payment providers and print partners. Their own terms and policies apply to your use of them, and you must follow them.
Changes made by a third-party platform, or the actions of a print partner or a payment provider, can affect how Printcart works with your store. We are not responsible for those platforms or providers.
11. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the services available and secure, but they are provided without a promise of uninterrupted operation. We may need to carry out maintenance, and parts of the services depend on other providers.
We may add, change or retire features, plans or integrations. When a change would materially affect something you rely on, we will tell you in advance where it is reasonable to do so.
12. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Printcart at any time and cancel a paid plan in your account. You can ask us to close your account through the helpdesk.
We may suspend or end access to the services if you break these terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, or if the law requires it. Where possible we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the issue first.
When an account closes, your right to use the services ends. Sections of these terms that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability, continue after termination.
13. Disclaimers
The services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not make any warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the services will meet every requirement of your business, that print files will suit every printer or product, or that the results of AI tools will be free of errors. Please review print files and AI output before you use them in production.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Printcart and Netbase JSC are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid to Printcart for the service that gave rise to the claim in the period before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you through the dashboard or by email. If you keep using the services after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
