| Background removal | 90 tokens + 15 per megapixel per image | Each image starts at 90 tokens, plus 15 tokens for every megapixel of the input image, never more than 400 tokens. A megapixel is one million pixels. |

Pricing questions
- What is the AI Wallet?
- The AI Wallet is the token balance of your Printcart account. A token plan adds tokens each billing period, and the tools take tokens from the balance when they run.
- What do tokens pay for?
- Tokens pay for the Printcart tools such as background removal, image upscale, preflight, bulk face crop, bulk QR cards and face matching. The tool price table shows what each one costs per unit.
- Are tokens shared between my stores?
- Yes. Tokens belong to the account, so every store connected to the account draws from the same balance.
- How is the price of an image tool worked out?
- Some tools have a flat price per image. Others start from a base price and add a set number of tokens for every megapixel of the image, up to a maximum. A megapixel is one million pixels. The table states which rule each tool uses.
- Where do I buy or manage tokens?
- Sign in to the Printcart Dashboard and open Plans to manage your token plan.
- Where do these prices come from?
- They are read from the live Printcart price list each time this page is built for you. If the price list cannot be reached the page says so instead of showing numbers.
